Camels

One day in March, I went to the desert with friends. It was really beautiful since we had so much rain in December that there was lots of plant growth. These camels were grazing in the ripening grasses.

Limestone

This is one of the beautiful sights to see when in Qatar. It is a natural geologic formation.

Making a blog

Today I learned to do a blog with Abeer.

Visit to Al Khor

Today I went to my first school in Qatar, Al Khor Grils Elementary School. Even entering the school gate brought a wave of emotion. The gardens were planted and growing and additional potted plants lined the walk to the steps. On either side of the facing wall were large posters giving the school's mission in Arabic and English. Together we can do it! still announces the entrance to the school.
As I prepared to take a photo of the vision, someone wrapped on the window of the executive meeting room and waved energetically at me. I went inside the loby and was greeted by Neimat, Miss Muneera, Di and others who had seen me arrive. It was so nice to be so warmly greeted.
